About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Factory Technical Manager, to join our team here in Irthlingborough.

As Factory Technical Manager, you will be a pivotal part of our dynamic operations team, reporting directly to the Operations Director. You'll be the link between management and the operations team, building strong relationships.

You will be responsible for compliance with Whitworths Quality Systems; maintaining our accreditations, oversee our HACCP/TACCP and VACCP practices, enforce our Food Safety standards and drive good manufacturing practise with our Operations Team, enabling the business to deliver outstanding performance against all customer product and process expectations.

We are already BRC accredited to an AA standard and expect you will maintain this as well as continuing to drive our culture of food safety excellence. You will also be proactive in implementing and advising on technical best practice and legislative changes across the product range.

Our Factory Technical Manager plays a pivotal role as part of our Senior Technical Leadership Team.  In addition, it has two areas reporting in; Quality, headed up by our QMS Manager supported by our Quality Assurance Technicians, and Hygiene, who oversee the hygiene standards / pest control across the whole site.
