Rotating shift schedule:
Shift: 4 week Rotating Schedule
Block 1 (Weeks 1-4): Monday - Wednesday 7am - 7pm
Block 2 (Weeks 5-8): Thursday - Saturday 7am- 7pm
(plus two flexible floating shifts every 4 weeks. Engineering operates a 24/6 cover, working on 3 days on 4 days off rota with banked hours principle.

You will provide a full engineering support service to all areas of the business, aiming to minimise machine and equipment downtime and maximise preventative maintenance.
Key focus areas:
- Minimise machine downtime
- Prevent manufacturing lost time
- Achievement of the Preventative Maintenance Plan
- To be audit ready at all times – relevant paperwork and quality audits completed
- To be generating continuous improvement ideas
You will have experience of working as a Maintenance Engineer within a production environment - preferably food processing, and will be able to demonstrate an understanding of manufacturing processes. You'll need to use both your electrical and mechanical engineering experience in this role.
You'll be a used to planning PPM, and you'll understand the importance of this. As you'd expect, there will also be reactive work, so you'll need to be adaptable - a natural, hands on problem solver will thrive in this role. You'll be comfortable recording reports and work logs onto our system - so computer literacy is also important.
Ideally you will have (or be working towards) the following qualifications:
- BTECH/ONC qualification as a minimum in either Electrical or Mechanical discipline or Multi skilled engineering qualification or C&G 2330 Level 3 Electro – technical certificate combined with NVQ 3 Electrical Maintenance
- Time served apprentice
- Multi-skilled Engineer
- HNC level in electrical, mechanical or production maintenance engineering
