About The Role

Our passion for excellence drives everything we do, and our Process and New Product Development (NPD) team is at the heart of our success. We are currently seeking a Process Development Technician to join us to help take our products to the next level.

As a Process Development Technician, you will play a crucial role in the development and optimisation of our manufacturing processes for new and existing products. Working closely with the operation and commercial teams, you will ensure that all processes are efficient, cost-effective, and meet quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment where creativity and technical expertise come together to create outstanding food products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development, scaling up, and implementation of new manufacturing processes for product launches.
  • Conduct trials and experiments to optimise production processes, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality and production, to facilitate smooth process transitions.
  • Document and analyse trial results, providing detailed reports and recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist in troubleshooting production issues and propose practical solutions.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all activities comply with food safety and health & safety standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree or diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry is desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
