About The Role

Do you have strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail? We’re looking for a Part-Time Technical Administrator to join our fast-paced FMCG environment and support the smooth running of our Factory Technical function.

 

You’ll provide administrative support to the Factory Technical function, including maintaining technical systems and databases, completing KPI reports and control plans, logging microbiological testing results, supporting traceability activities, and preparing accurate technical reports and documentation.

Working pattern: Part-time job share, Monday–Friday, 12:00–16:00 (TBC)

 
What are the main responsibilities of the job role? 

You will:

  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly technical KPI reports
  • Maintain control plans and update documentation for process or budget changes
  • Review traceability, verification records, and support traceability exercises and investigations
  • Support internal, third-party, and customer audits
  • Complete Quality Management System internal audits
  • Maintain autocoding database, including reporting and analysis
  • Log and trend microbiological testing results
  • Coordinate calibration schedules, maintenance, and repairs across site
  • Support held stock investigations alongside the Quality Manager
  • Coordinate technical training and taste panels
  • Provide QA cover and wider technical support where required
  • Support customer visits and wider technical team activities
 
What are the key ingredients needed for the role?
 We’re looking for someone who is organised, detail-focused, and confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

You will also have:

  • Experience in an administrative or technical support role, ideally within FMCG or food manufacturing
  • Strong IT skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive, self-motivated, and team-focused approach
  • The ability to work accurately at pace with strong attention to detail
